4th of July the Seguin Way

Updated: Jun 8, 2022

If you walked up to any local "Seguinite" and asked them what their favorite holiday was, chances are they'd say the 4th of July.

Why? You ask.

Well, Seguin celebrates the 4th of July like no other. We have celebrations all over town with fireworks, parades, concerts, and everything in between. People come from all over just to experience 4th of July in Seguin.

This year's Independence Day Celebrations include:

The Field of Honor - July 2-9, 2022

Don't miss this breathtaking spectacle where over 1,000 United States Flags are flying across the field all day and lit up with lights by night. The flags honor those who have served our country and honored the flag with their lives. The Field of Honor can be visited 24 hours a day, July 2-9 at 1326 East Cedar Street.

SATURDAY, JULY 2nd

6:00 p.m. Freedom Fiesta

Kick-off the holiday weekend with Freedom Fiesta in Central Park, hosted by Seguin's local radio station, KWED. The celebration includes live music, great food, cold beer, and more from 6-10 pm.

7:00 p.m. Seguin River Monsters v. Victoria Generals

Nothing screams "America!" like a good baseball game on a Saturday night! Catch the Seguin River Monsters at Smokey Joe Williams Field as they take on the Victoria Generals for the Holiday weekend.
